the fans of silent hill series will feel it really familiar. in SH2, 3 there are so many scenes and creatures derived from this movie.
one word, a painful veteran was tormented by a kind of drug codename ladder. yet another bizarre movie about NAM.

又要談及生與死的命題了。慷慨赴死，說得輕巧，我們誰也沒死過，又怎么會知道真正面對壓倒性的死亡之手時，會是怎樣的反應(yīng)？這時生命已經(jīng)不屬于你了，就算你抗?fàn)帲憧拊V，你面臨崩潰，你能做的只是稍微再為痛苦爭取多一點時間。影片中主角多次被人暗示“你已經(jīng)死了”，一個會看手相的女人，一個醫(yī)生，等等。那么，他為何還要掙扎？死，談何容易。人的一生，糾結(jié)交錯，一旦陷入，便很難抽離。即使他的大半生都只是夢，但如果夢真切而又溫馨，陷入又何妨。每一次的平靜都被死亡打破，而每一次死亡他又再把自己拉扯回平靜之中。首先是第一次死亡，真實的死亡，在戰(zhàn)場上，他被胖子隊友捅了一刀子，但又卻在電車中忽然醒來，仿佛是某一天下班搭電車回家中途睡著了做了個夢一樣。然后是因發(fā)燒被女朋友放在堆滿冰的浴缸中差點被凍死，掙扎醒來才發(fā)現(xiàn)只是窗沒關(guān)好凍醒了，和妻子說做夢和另外一個女人一起生活了，多么恐怖。親密耳語的時候小兒子跑過來搗亂說要爸爸給我蓋被子，此時哥哥也沒睡，還嚷著要明天的零用錢

Jacob’s Ladder is a psychologically horror film in 1990 in the United States of America which talked about a vet, Jacob, experienced a disorder between the reality and the virtual words through different dimensional time zones and finally being awaked up and finish all horrible things. To better adopt psychological knowledge in the movie, the director filmed this movie based upon a real book and subsisted sufficient amount of the related knowledge to ensure the accuracy

Sonny boy’s music was mentioned and played in the movie - and that’s why I was invited to watch the movie for the symbolism analysis.

作品的反戰(zhàn)意味很濃。影片的后半段說道毒品“梯子”，但本人覺得，“梯子”是不存在的。因為主人公聽到“梯子”事件的時候，其實是在深度昏迷中，那個世界完全是他腦子里的產(chǎn)物，那個世界里發(fā)生的事也都是他的潛意識映射。即使真有這件事，事件的前后，他本人也不可能知道。
本人覺得，“梯子”在他的潛意識里，只是在映射戰(zhàn)爭對士兵心中人性的滅絕。
