這是一部小眾的美劇，很少有論壇或是公眾賬號提及它的名字。在如今“《權(quán)游》一出，誰與爭鋒”的年代，它似乎顯得有些默默無聞。但其實(shí)查一下imdb上的評分，截至目前的四季評分均在8分之上，足以說明此劇的品質(zhì)。
其實(shí)此劇并非沒有來頭，作為希區(qū)柯克大神的經(jīng)典之作《驚魂記》的前傳，本劇對Norman Bates——這個(gè)美國電影史上最著名的精神病患者形象——的少年時(shí)代展開了一番想象。
Norman 是一個(gè)帶有藝術(shù)氣息的纖弱少年，家庭的不幸使得Norman的性格越發(fā)的敏感而脆弱，對相依為命的母親Norma產(chǎn)生了深深的愛戀。盡管這世界上對于戀母這件事有成千上萬種解釋，對于我而言，Norma和Norman之間則是徹頭徹尾的愛情。夜色下的湖面上一葉扁舟中，Norman對Norma吟誦的是《簡愛》里面的詩句；Norma與Norman會(huì)依偎在床上一起看電影，空虛寂寞冷的時(shí)候會(huì)相擁而睡，也會(huì)把冷漠作為對對方最好的報(bào)復(fù)；面對對方與異性交往，都會(huì)醋性大發(fā)，不攪黃對方戀情不會(huì)善罷甘休。種種小性子、小心機(jī)、欲說還休、欲罷不能，“你是我的唯一，你是我的整個(gè)世界”，“你和我是一體的
