freeOK概要:J ü rgen Roland's violent crime film is an authoritative work of German mafia thriller, and together with Rolf Olsen's stunning and even more exciting "Liberation," it is the best German crime film of the 1970s (please note that both films were actually co produced by Germany and Italy, which I think explains a lot). Herbert Fleischman plays Hamburg businessman Otto Westman, who is also the leader of organized crime in the city. However, with the ambitious Sicilian mafia Luca Messina entering this North German metropolis directly from New York, his rule as the Godfather is in danger. Messina's goal is clear and simple: he wants to take over Hamburg. But Westman was not as easily defeated as Sicilians expected. Soon, Hamburg was on the brink of a bloody mob war. Without a doubt, the ace of this movie is Henry Silva, who played Messina and once again performed wildly like most genres at the time (two of many other examples being "IL BOSS" and "QUELLI CHE CONTANO"). But Herbert Fleischman's character was also perfect, and the two actors fought a big battle throughout the entire movie. There are also some great action scenes, mainly the climax speedboat chase sequence, which had been 15 years before a similar chase in the Dutch thriller 'Amsterdam'. The final turning point is spectacular, although somewhat predictable. The only negative view about this movie is the unnecessary love story between Westerman's son and Messina's daughter, which greatly reduces the smoothness of the story. Otherwise, 'The Golden Boy' is an exciting crime movie that will definitely not be missed by fans of this genre.
